Fujifilm and C1
C1 has some known limitations for the fujifilm Raw format *.raf (Fujifilm X-Trans):
- Inability to use the Auto Mask
- Inability to use LCC
Even though they are the only limitations, honestly I think two important functions (Especially the LCC!!).
I'd like to know how many users in this forum use the new Fujifilm X-Trans sensor.
I wish the developers they find a solution in order to use LCC and Auto Mask, considering that Adobe Lightroom is already able to take advantage of the masks on this format and fujifilm mirrorless really are gaining market.
I've converted all my professional equipment from Canon to Fuji.
Sorry for my English.

I do too, X-E1. Not my main workhorse though. 0 -
Fujifilm X-Pro 1 here.

Fuji XT1 and E1.
I too expect full C1 support for XTrans Raw files.

Could you explain why you are missing LCC? It was developed for compensation of color cast from movements made with a technical camera. I am interested to learn your application of LCC with your camera.0 -

Using certain non native lenses on mirrorless cameras (such as many rangefinder wide angles non retrofocus ) is actually creating a color cast at the borders which can be effectively removed with LCC.0 -
Thank you Ario. I remember I had the same on a digital Leica M8 I had. 0 -
I'm using two XE1 bodies as my workhorse cameras. I'm having no problems with C1Pro8.1 on Mac; in fact I'm delighted with the output.
Be well all.0 -
I'm using a X-Pro1 and a X-T1. I'm quite happy with C1 and have not missed LCC so far because I'm using only Fujinon X lenses, which have no problems with color casts.
More than LCC I'm missing the auto-mask function. And I'm already missing tethered support for the X-T1. Lightroom has already announced that, which leads to my question: Are there any plans to support tethering for X-T1???0 -
Note that CO 8 also doesn't "officially" support Repair layers for X-Trans RAW files.
Heal layers kind of work but at least on my Macbook Pro (Mid-2014) they slow down CO significantly.
When I asked CO support when/if RAF files will be fully supported, I got this response:"... . I cannot promis if or when this will change as it is no small undertaking to implement."

Please note that it takes a software development kit (SDK) from FujiFilm first, for Phase One to be able to implement tethering into CO8. Which leads to my question: is there a SDK from FujiFilm?0
