C1 12 Catalogs/Sessions imported to C1 20
I upgraded to C1 20 (Fuji) a couple of weeks ago. I EXPECTED that my catalogs/session under C1 12 would transfer with the upgrade. But apparently this is not the case, even thought this has GOT to be a rather basic thing that C1 12 upgraders would be looking for. After spending WAY too much time roaming around your website I cannot find an altogether clear answer. I assume you need to ask C1 20 to import files from C1 12 but I would like a clear and precise roadmap/answer on how to do this before I risk going down a destructive rabbit hole. Thanks. PS: From what I can see the C20 upgrade made changes that I find very welcome

Just a note that you are talking to other users here - the forum is not an official support site.
Open your V12 catalogue in V20 and you will be prompted to permit C1 to upgrade the catalogue database files to what is required to make use of V20 facilities.
As part of that process C1 will make a backup copy of the existing V12 database.
The update of the processing engine used for the images is optional. C1 Supports old version of the processing engine back to Version 6. So the main activity is simply to save a version of the V12 (or V11 or whatever) catalog and then update the database to V13 specification, all of which will be done automatically once you agree to it.
Here is the information in the FAQ pages of the support site.

I must say I had some troubles.
Proceeding as you describe launched some kind of unwanted auto-adjusts.
Tried right-clicking on my C1/12 catalog > open with > C1/20, it launched the request for upgrading, and ... no progress appeared for hours in the progress bar.
Then I launched C1/12, and made an export of the database (Export > as a Catalog).
I opened C1/20, disabled all auto-adjusts, and imported the file exported in the previous step.
That worked.
PS: i saw, however, that some settings in Exposure were in C1/12 at "+0,3", and displayed on C1/20 as "-0,4".
Is that some part of the upgrade to maintain correspondances ?0 -

I don't think so. Seems weird.0
