Where and how to submit feature requests to the product management?
ImplementedEDITED post (2020-03-11):
Hi Jakob from Capture One,
Can you please elaborate how users should send feature requests from now on, is it still via the "submit a request" link or posting here, or both? If posting here, will all requests be treated identical i.e. be forwarded to the developers or is there a preselection by you/your colleagues?
Thanks for clarification.

I have seen two people here who believe this forum is the place to submit feature requests to the product people from Capture One. But is this true?
I submitted a couple of feature requests via the submit a request link on the top pf the page. On this linked page, a form shows up, I start the subject with "Feature request: ...". The type of request (dropdown), I choose "Other". A couple of days later I receive a reply telling me that the request has been forwarded to the product team or some similar sentence. I can see my request listed in the list of all my others requests.
Basically the same as in the pre-new-forum-era.
As nobody from the company has notified me that the way how to request a feature now is this topic in the new forum, and the title of this topic indicates this is a place to discuss feature requests, I believe the the place to submit feature requests is still the old way via the link top right of the new forum.
It would be nice to obtain an official response from the company.

Agreed.
Or maybe this is the place to submit forum feature requests?
Who knows.
As users we can make it whatever we want it to be until someone with control over the Forum decides otherwise.
Meanwhile I think it makes sense to create "Submit a Request" entries anyway.

Good points...
yes, we users can interpret the hell into this, if it will be used by the company as a source for C1 feature requests is unclear.

Not sure where the ambiguity is.
This forum is described (with my emphasis) as:
"...the place to discuss feature requests."
The site FAQ is clear that to raise a feature request we:
"...can reach [Capture One] via a support ticket. To create one, click here."
No confusion there. We raise requests via a support ticket, and talk about features here.

I'm with you Keith but ...
... on reflection ..
The Feature Requests section of the forum does not actually specify whether it is intended for C1 features or Zendesk features. (Or Capture Pilot). Or just open feature suggestions about anything else - plug-ins for example, but really anything at all.
The current assumptions as proposed by BeO seem logical but ... who can be sure what the intent might be?

Keith,
You are right. That's also my view on it. However I felt that not everyone is aware about it, and you might possibly remember the old forum which sometimes was used by forum participants to describe their request alongside with some term similar as "Dear developers", or otherwise indicating they did not know that the forum is not the right place to submit requests. Grant and others often replies with a hint how to request a feature with the company.
And I think I observered some people in the new forum did not know this either, which is even more natural as despite the new link top right we also have a topic Feature Request which can lead to false assumptions.
If this (my) thread sometimes pops up in the upper part of "recent", more people which do not know the link you have found (I did not see this before either) may possbily get reminded how to submit feature requests.

Good point. Are we just screaming at a wall, or do they actually intend to use this as a place to field our largest concerns?
