impossible to change anything after update to 13.1 / WIN 10

I updated to C1 13.1. on WIN 10. Now, I can't change any slider (-> no adjustments possible). Everything is grey, it's like dead. Where could be the problem?

Is it possible that you've selected an adjustment layer (such as a repair layer) as doing so for me gives the same result?

No, there are no layers at all.
This behaviour is for new sessions and also for existing ones that I import into the 13.1.

Hello, I found a little eye-icon in the lower right corner of the thumbnails. It seems there is a "view only"-mode...
how can I desable that?

Capture One comes in several incarnations these days. Not so many years ago, most forum members used Capture One "Pro", that handles many image files from the most common camera brands and has the functionality that you see on the info channels out there. Nowadays we have C1 for Sony ONLY, for Fujifilm ONLY, and the other day i read about a new member of the "Capture One for specific camera brand", for Nikon ONLY this time. And then there is the Express type.
Additionally, there are certain types of image files that Capture One does not handle, some are created by computer software (= not directly from a camera to C1), others may have a size (pixel count) or format that Capture One does not handle.
When inviting forum members to suggest solutions to a Capture One problem, it is a good idea to fully disclose what kind of image files cause the problem, the camera brand/type/model and last, but not least: the Capture One incarnation, it is about more than the version number. There is for example, no point in trying Capture One for Sony ONLY on image files from Nikon...
That said, my C1 ("Pro") has check boxes to enable certain image file types (JPG,TIFF, DNG).
On Windows: C1 menu bar -> Edit -> Preferences... Image

Thank you! Got it! I just found out, that there was a DB-only license instead of my PRO license installled.
