Anyway to use Xrite Color Checker Passport?
Hi,
I was wondering if there is anyway to use the
Xrite Color Checker Passport with Capture One?
I use it to get more accurate skin tones in Adobe Raw...
I prefer Capture One over Adobe Camera Raw but
I miss having the colour profiles for accurate skin tones.
Any tricks I should know about?

You may want to investigate the X-rite site, http://xritephoto.com/ph_product_overvi ... n=overview for background info. As for X-rite's profile manager for DNG files, as I understand it's only for Adobe RAW processing. The color calibration information, however is very useful in CO7 image editing workflows. Again, I suggest you check the x-rite site for the inside information. 0 -
The Color Checker Passport can be used but the associated X-rite software cannot create color profiles to be used in Capture One.
If you want to create profiles for Capture One the only way I know is to use the Capture One Color Editor Tool, adjust the colors to your taste and save the result as new profile(s) for your camera. I have many for all my cameras which I use on different occasions, same as I do with Lr/ACR.0
