Do you have the distortion slider set at 100%?

Interesting that, I have just had a check and with every one of my Nikon lenses that have automatic distortion correction function in Capture One excert the 50mm f/1.4 G the distortion slider goes to 100% automatically. With the 50mm f/1.4 and only the 50mm f/1.4 you have to manually set the slider at 100%. Perhaps the OP would like to raise a support case?

Good observation, which I can confirm.

I just checked a few unadjusted NEFs myself, applying a reset just to make sure. It seems to be happening at random, with other lenses as well: I checked with the Nikon 70-200mm f4 and the 50mm f1.8G. Some would have the slider at 100%, some at 0%, even for the same lens.

    Cheers,
    Mogens

Automatic correction is only enabled if the lens distort beyond a certain threshold. This is why you don't see it automatically set with the Nikkor 50 mm 1.4G. This is defined for each focal length, so for zoom it will auto-correct at some focal lengths, but not at others, depending on the severity of the distortion.

    Thanks for the explanation. 😄

Thank you all! sorry for replaying so late (did not receive any mail alert on comments).
Yes, the slider was down to 0% 😊))
    Now it's all fine.
    Thank you again
