Hello,
I'm having the same problem.
configuration: Imac 10.7.5, Capture on 6.4.4, 5dMk III
Having following error message: NSInvalidSendPortException
Please help...
PS: C1 user for years (since 3.0) never had tethering problems so far. But since we bought 5dM 3 in april this year we're having a lot of troubles. When will we have again our stable and reliable tethering soft we're used to?0 -
Add me to the list.....large production studio... I am NOT happy 😭
Canon 5dm2, Canon 5dm3 both do it. Fresh install of C1 Pro 6.4.4
Exception: NSInvalidSendPortException. [NSMachPort sendBeforeDate:] destination port invalid
Thanks,

We have tested this here and found the same thing... Capture One 6.4.2 which uses the older Canon SDK will still work, but the newer SDK which is necessary for the 5D MK III and the 1DX fails on 10.7.5. We still need to confirm with R&D but on the surface it looks like this is the same issue we have with Canon and 10.8. The older SDK works, but for the newer cameras we will most likely need to wait for Canon to finally produce software that works in 10.8. (they have indicated drivers are coming in October)
Just to be sure I tested EOS Utility 2.11.4 on 10.7.5 and it crashes as soon as a camera is connected.0 -
This is a great example where when it comes to OS updates, no matter how small, its always a good idea to let someone else test it out first before putting it on an important production machine. 0 -
And always backup your computer 😄 0
