It might be too late but the ONLY software I have had 100% luck with is Photorescue, http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/ get the expert for $29.00 Try a quick recovery and if that didn't work ...

I own both, the Canon 1DsMIII and the H2 with Phase p30+. The P30+ files are nicer, more D-range on the back and more detail. I like the canon for fast low light shooting. I don't use Capture on...

Just a follow up. I processed 3500 1DsMIII files in PS3 the other night, not a single crash or any black bars and none of the images had the red pixels of death. I can't wait for the NEXT version...
