No support for Leica
In previous versions of C1; Leica was supported, albeit somewhat limited. According to the information regarding C1v8, Leica no longer is listed among supported cameras. Is this true?

I have opened without any problem raw dng files from my Leica M (typ 240) and Monochrom, I have also reprocessed some of them using the Capture One 8 engine. The same apply to the Olympus files (OMD) which apparently are not in the list of the supported files but as far as I can see they are.
Waiting for an official explanation this is what I can see.0 -
The best thing you can do, in a more global sense, is to complain to Leica and tell them you want them to release their SDKs to third party developers. They have been resistant to do so in the past. 0 -
What I am looking for is the official confirmation that the raw file is still supported, as in CO7 no sdk is involved. 0 -
In the downloadable release notes both Leica and Olympus cameras are listed among the supported ones. 0 -
Go to download page:
http://www.phaseone.com/en/Downloads/Ma ... One-8.aspx
Click on documentation and download release note.
There is a range of Leica camera supported.
So far Phase One has never removed support for any camera, only added.0 -

I was able see my M240 files, but unable to edit or process them. There is a small icon on the thumbnail which suggests they are read-only.
What am I doing wrong?0 -

Are you sure they are dng files? (if jpg may not be supported depending on your Capture One preferences)0 -

Also make sure you are running the Pro version, and not the Sony or DB versions.0
