Dis-similar Sensitivity Lens Distortion Sliders

I make a great deal of use of Nikon 16-35 and 24-120 f/4 lenses. These lenses both suffer from marked distortion, pincushion at one end of zoom range and barrel at the other. When correcting barrel distortion the distortion slider has to be moved significantly to achieve small changes in distortion which is good and accurate. However when generic pincushion is selected the distortion slider becomes very sensitive indeed and makes it very difficult to accurately correct this type of distortion. The difference in sensitivity is in the order of 10 to 1. Is there a work around for this problem or do I need to raise a case?

    Yes this is true if you move the slider with the mouse wheel or drag it.
    But you can manually ad decimal values directly in the text box.
    Hope this helps.
