I have c1Pro 6 but would upgrade to 7 in a heartbeat for this.

Well, keep you wallet into position... 😉

I read posts on this forum that came straight from the horse's mouth that X-Pro1 support is coming. To be more precise: in this thread.

Regarding the X-E1 the comms were not that explicit, but you should keep faith when you read between the lines. I am pretty confident that Phase One has the right focus here, to use our kind of language.

Message to the Phase One management team:
We all understand that coming up with the key to unlock the potential of the Fujifilm X-Trans sensor is a very daunting task. Having spent my career in development, I understand the difficulties.

However, I think it would be prudent for the team to issue periodic updates as to the progress, as difficult as it may be to do under the circumstances. You have a large group of dedicated followers who have confidence in your abilities to come through with the right solutions. You owe it to them to keep them apprised of the situation. If you are at a stage where you are confident a solution is eminent but much further testing is required, please let us know. If there are still huge obstacles to be overcome but work is continuing, we would all appreciate hearing about that.

In case you want to beta test the next version of Capture One - let me know (via email)

Capture One has a very good reputation and I'd suspect that most people would happily wait a little longer for a high quality conversion of the X-Trans data. Communicating progress with the customer base would help with the mounting frustration that some people may be feeling, just don't promise the earth.

We have access to the X-Pro as well as the X-E1 Fujifilm cameras. We would be happy to perform beta testing of the Capture One raw conversion software for Fujifilm X-Trans sensor cameras.
Lionel, I cannot contact you via email since you don't have contact information in your profile.

    Hello,

I've only 2-3 days of v7 trial left. So far it's very unstable, so I think I'll wait with the purchase for upcoming update.
Would be great to test mentioned beta version though 😉

    Hi Lionel..

I have emailed you with regard to beta testing the next version of C1 7...I have Fuji X-Pro1 in hand but cant decode the damn RAW as I only use C1 7 Raw converter for my Nikons.

    Thanks

Really looking forward to the new Fuji X support.

I use C1 as my primary raw platform for all my camera systems (IQ160, P25+, Aptus 65, D800, D600) due to the need for LCC support for my tech cameras and general flexibility and performance of the converter in pulling out the best colour and detail from those systems. However, I'm stuck with my X-Pro1 & X-E1 files and currently have to shoot both RAF & JPG and use LR as my other converter just for those files - a very frustrating situation as I shoot a lot of street and travel using the Fuji's and a single tool would really, really help! It doesn't help that LR's RAF conversions aren't that great - reds bleed out horribly in urban lighting shots for me with no detail such that I will use jpgs instead of raws as a starting point.

If anyone has examples of superior red processing or would like to try some files to test I can provide some test examples.

I have also sent you an email to beta test the Fuji support. My X-E1 is all packed up and ready to be returned, but if Capture One can process the RAF files well enough, I might keep it. Hopefully I can test the beta before I have to return the camera.

If you like the IQ of jpg files, keep it. C1 can/will process RAF files even better 😊

I'm very happy to read that there is a Beta-Version of CaptureOne with the integration of the Fuji-X-Cameras.
Two months ago I bought an X-E1, using Leica, Zeiss ZM and two Fuji lenses. It's a fine little beast with phenomenal pictures and a good handling. The only thing I'm missing is the Capture One intergration. The best software for Raw files, I'm using since several years.
Can I also try the Beta-Version?

Best regards and merry Christmas to all of you

Great work Capture One, I've just run some comparisons between the beta and ACR/CR6 and the results immediately spoke for themselves. The beta results show way more definition in fine detail than the Adobe and I much prefer the overall rendering too.

still no response about the beta. This does not bode well for PhaseOne. If their support is so spotty to get people interested in their product, how bad will it be after I have dug deep into my pocket and they have my money?

I sure hope the update supports the X-E1 also.

As far as I know, the sensors in both cameras are identical, so if C1Pro7 reads one, it will read the other.

In the meantime, it's JPEGs for me, for the first time ever.

From other posts on this or other forums Phase One has communicated that X-E1 support is also scheduled for the next CO7 maintenance release.
