Simply download the current version from Capture One Web Site, open the disk image, drag and drop the CO icon into the Application Folder. There is nothing you need to delete.

Thanks. Also I noticed in my software license, it says I have no free upgrades left. I've never updated Capture One, or done a major upgrade. I just want to update from 7.1 to 7.2.2
    Can I not do that?

I also did as you said, I now have 2 versions on my computer. Why do you make updating so difficult?

Ok all sorted. For some reason original Capture One was called something different. Re-named it, replaced it and license key still worked.
Sorry if I sound really stupid and thank you for your help!

Ahh, one lost installation of "Capture One - Canon" from the early days of CO7. It was an old tip, the renaming I mean of how to circumvent Canon tethering issues as long as Canon had not updated their software kit.

All that is history now and you can safely remove it.
