OS X 10.10.3 later today?
Heads up!
According to this article on Macrumors, OS X will get 10.10.3 later today.
http://www.macrumors.com/2015/04/08/os- ... ing-today/
Just be careful before you upgrade, preferably run a full backup.
I haven't had a chance to try the latest beta-version of 10.10.3 so I don't know if C1 works just fine.

I'm running a beta version of 10.10.3 and I can confirm this behavior. Everything else works fine for me though. 0 -
.. it should be worth mentioning that so far is this the only known issue.
The tokens works, just can not see the name of them without highlighting the specific token.0 -
Confirmed. Tokens work, but you need to highlight them to read them.
But make sure you have a backup of your disk before updating. The update got stuck at 'less than one minute left' for more than hour before I killed it by forcing a power-off. After reboot, my Macbook failed to boot half way, at each boot. I managed to get it back to work using safe mode boot ('shift'-key pressed), then installing the update a 2nd time in safe mode. 1st rebooting then took a very(!) long time, but it did boot. Now it´s all working fine again. But all in all I spent a full afternoon installing and solving it.
Searching the net I found I was not the only one. Solutions vary from safe boot over time machine to format and re-install.

Hans, did you install through the AppStore application, or did you download the full combi package from the Apple download page? 0 -
Hi Paul,
I updated using the downloaded "OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update" file.

Hmm, that is my preferred method as well. So, still issues. Have not updated yet. 😁
Thanks for letting us know.0 -
I updated via the Software Update option automatically offered on my Mac via the App Store. I experienced a fast installation without issues but I haven't installed Capture One Pro 8 yet as I am here asking important (to me) questions before I bother with a trial. 0 -
There is a post dated April 9 which says that the problem of tokens showing up as white bars will be solved very shortly. How is the fix going? Whilst is is possible still to do things by clicking on each token to see what you have set, that is tedious, and (oddly enough, and I haven't seen this mentioned elsewhere) the example names don't respond to the tokens set either, so the ONLY way to check how the naming is going to work is to click on each token in turn. 0 -
Hi I also have white bars instead of token descriptions using 10.10.3 Yosemite, 8.2.1 capture One. A pain to say the least but most unexpected is the inability to keep my output naming format after a programme close and then a reopen. I have to put it in every time I open the software. Anyone else find this?
A fix please...0 -

Have you saved the format?

Hi Grant, I have saved my preferences in the naming format as a preset and also saved my process recipe.
Upon reopening the software the process recipe is remembered and applied but no output naming format is there.
In the output naming box under sample it just says EmptyName until I reselect my naming preset again manually.
Am I missing something it worked fine in Capture One Pro 7.0 -

Just worried I'll forget to re-apply one time, open a bank of shots and start processing in a rush, all with no designated name...0 -
OK, interesting to know that.
The latest token based system is all new so one might expect some differences/changes/anomalies and, yes, bugs.
I would suggest reporting your experience in a Support Case.
I'll review things in Windows later ... unless anyone else has already done that and can see the same behaviour.

Yes, download CO 8.2.2, released today, and the token issue should be something of the past.0 -

It doesn't show as an update for me in Capture One.

That server trigger comes a day later, according to my experience.0 -
OK - I went to the website and downloaded it. I'll upgrade to 10.10.3 now.

I downloaded and installed the latest update. The tokens are no longer showing up as white. I'm also running 10.10.4 so I must be really brave! 😄 0 -

Running into a new problem with the exporting of variants... The first export run is fine, the second time the format naming field is empty... Setting it up the way I like it it will be empty again on the next export run!? The tokens aren't white, they get deleted after an export run...?0
