Better support for Fuji-X ?
Hello,
I am using a Fuji X-T20 as second camera. While the pictures in CaptureOne are good, they do lack sharpness in comparaison to OOC. Especially in the corner of the frame.
I guess the reason is that Fuji's camera applied sharpness correction. Unfortunately, this is not supported on X-Trans. I already filled up a support case for this.
Are there more people who wished a better X... maybe pull up the X-Trans support in the support case...
Wish list:
- Corner sharpness correction. At least like other sensor. At best reading out the data from the RAW
- Better demosaicing support
- Tethering
- Better overall support and IQ.
Thanks

I have the x-e3, I noticed that there is a default lens correction added, which sometimes looks good and sometimes doesn't. Could you post a screen shot of the lack of sharpness?
I'd love tethering, but I believe that's going to have to come from fuji. And I don't see that happening since it helps them separate their product lines.0 -

Capture One applies the lens correction data embedded in the .RAF metadata rather than creating their own lens data (other software such as Lightroom uses exactly the same embeded data.)0 -
If you don't like the predefinied sharpness you can change it and set the new value as default for X-T20. 0 -
I need a blur setting if anything!
...that is not NR or negative structure; and runs beneath the sharpening algorithm.
The 'improved' X-Trans handling introduced by 10.1 is too 'good', and forces me to pull back structure and add grain so that I can sharpen without major artifacts.0
