Renaming sessions
Hi there,
I hope you can help.
I was recently away in India and took 40 CF cards worth of pictures (saved onto a portable hard drive and uploaded at home into my ibook). I've imported all these into Capture 1 as India 1, India 2, India 3 etc...
Is there a way to rename these sessions, so I can be a little more descriptive now that I know what they are of?
Also, if I move the RAW files and sessions onto my standard harddrive to clear space on the imac, how can I get Capture 1 to recognise where each session is now to be found? Do I have to create new sessions in the new loations, and drag and drop the files into them?
Thanks!
Cara

Hi Cara,
you can rename the session folder (not the capture-, process-, trash-folder) in the finder. Than add the session in CO.
You can add a session by choosing \"add session\" in the organizing tool and choose the file xxxx.session in the session folder (do not rename this file).
Please make sure that you copy the whole session folder incl. the raw-files, not only the capture folder!
