I sometimes use DXO as my backup converter but they don't have D500 support scheduled until 7/16. At least DXO gives you a date on their website. Since I have three weddings before then, I downloaded little Iridient Raw Developer which has D500 support.

Due to the Earthquake in Japan, Nikon have some trouble with delivery of a production unit to us. It shouldn't be too long before we get a unit, but I cannot say anything about a release, other than we will of course support the D500 as soon as we can.

Could you provide a work around maybe?

When I tried to convert the nef files to dng's and then import those to capture one that are all washed out even using the Nikon D5 ICC profile in Basic Characteristics

There are plenty of folks out here that would be more than happy to send in files if you need but we need some guidence, please help.

After picking up a D500 "off the shelf" from my local camera store I just upgraded CO8 to CO9 and was surprised to find that he D500 still isn't supported....the D500's can't be that difficult to get a hold of.

Wouldn't have been a surprise if you'd checked the supported cameras list...

Well I did check a month ago and wasn't surprised to find it wasn't supported then, one reason I held off buying one at the time. Now that D500's are more readily available and there are no "make or break" issues I figured it was time to pick one up. Was planning on upgrading to CO9 anyway, so perhaps "surprised" isn't the right word....just disappointed it's taking so long to add support for a very popular camera. And yes, I'm impatient. 😁

It's really not that hard to register as NPS member and get a body the first day it is released.

    Hi,

is there anything new about a support date on the d500 profile?

It probably will be with the next release but PhaseOne does not commit or publish these dates as mentioned in many threads before.

Kindly submit a support case to Phase One. This may help to speed up the matter.
