DNG Difficulties

We received a batch of DNG files which we needed to process in CO10

Processed as PSD and did retouching. Flattened everything and saved as TIFF file.
When we go to open the flattened TIFF that we did retouching work on, it opens up in Camera Raw instead of right into Photoshop and skipping CR.

(DNG processed as PSD, flattened/saved as TIFF, TIFF opening in CR...)

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    I can't even get most DNG files to import anymore. Seems to be very hit an miss. As I work to port over my workflow to C1, I have a lot of images that are DNG. These used to import fine but now they are totally ignored.

    Any recommendations?
