Renaming issue

I assume you have renamed the original image files from the OS and not from the CO catalog. Now the catalog contains data related to image files which do not exist anymore because they have been renamed.
What you probably could do is the restore the original names from the OS.

That is what I started to do and unfortunately I do not have all the original names PLUS they lost all the adjustments.

I then dragged and dropped the 2 images onto the desktop BUT the import will not accept them they are grayed out in the desktop when I opened it.
    What a joke !

How can I import from the desk top?

I do not know how but I dragged and dropped it into a new folder and then moved it to its original folder.
    Lost all the adjustments.

I have been very critical of this software NOT for the great adjustments but for the lack of common sense in the basic operations.
Importing should not be an issue, it is way to confusing and the Catalog versus Sessions is beyond reason.
I do not use the product but still try and learn the system but EVERY TIME I try I only get more frustrated.
The on line search is useless.
Try it, type in a word and see what appears, I cannot even send you a screen shot as that is also a major project.
Someone should look the the Aperture software for its ease of use, not adjustments and see how user friendly it is which in the long run saves time and time is money.
Enough of this rant, I am sure you stopped reading a while ago. LLOL

Please submit a Support ticket. The adjustments should of course not disappear, unless you explicitly ask for it.
