Crashing Crashing
I can't seem to get C1prov5 to work to save my life!!!
I create a new session, shoot, then when I go to create another new session, c1 hangs, gives me the beach ball. I have to force quit to get out of it.
Time and time again this happens. Very annoying!!
I have no idea why.
Any help?

First checks for CO 5.0 Pro/Mac:
- View menu, Proof Profile, Selected Recipe (must be checked)
- refresh (remove) the preference file (com.phaseone.captureone.plist)0 -
Have you looked at the known issues topic in this forum?
Have you tried to quit-relaunch C1 before creating your new session?0 -
Tired that with no luck.
I'm currently in contact with Phase One support.
Hopefully they can figure it out.0 -
After updating from Capture One Pro 5 to 5.0.1 I've been experiencing repeated crashes whenever I try to switch sessions. There is just one session out of the ten or so on my computer that does not cause a crash. I am running Mac OS 10.6.2. I've tried trashing Capture One then downloading and reinstalling with the same results. I have not been able to locate the preference file that you suggested trashing. This may have had something to do with my attempting to designate a new output folder. Although I am a longtime Capture One user, I find the importing interface and the output interface and procedures incredibly confusing. There are some much appreciated and significant improvements with version 5 but the problems I just mentioned are a real drag on my workflow. If those changes to importing and output were so necessary and supposedly helpful, better documentation would really help. So, how do I find and get rid of that preferences file? Please explain the entire procedure. I don't find it in my preferences folder and I don't find a Capture One folder of any sort for that matter. 0 -

You can find the preference file (com.phaseone.captureone.plist) in your home folder, Library, Preferences.0
