Unable to populate a session.
I normally use referenced catalogs with the original raw files stored in external HD’s and the catalogs either in the internal or in external HD's depending on the circumstances, and I never had any major issue.
I have tried today to create a session on an external HD but I was not able to have all the raw files copied from an other HD into the capture folder due to an unknown error occurring in the middle of the process while Capture One was copying the raw files. This situation can be reproduced at any time on the same machine (Imac 27â€) using any combination I can imagine regarding the position of the origin and destination folders. I made a test also with a “managed†catalog still getting the same error.
I have also placed both the folder with the original files and the session folder inside the same picture folder of the internal HD but still I was getting the same error (unknown according to the log message).
I have then tried the same operation using the same portable HD on a different machine (a MacBook Pro Retina) running the same OS version (10.9) and the same CO version (7.2) as the iMac, and everything went smoothly.
Any idea? (I have already contacted CO Customer Service).
