Variants missing metadata

Hi
I cannot open a session because "a couple of variants are missing their metadata. Does anyone know if there is a way around this.
I made a complete stuff-up moving files between hard drives but it is a huge session and I am hoping to salvage some work.

  Have you tested working with the latest version of Capture One (v.9.2.1) ? Should solve the issue.

  Hi thanks for the reply. I am just about to install the update, but I have a query related to updating: Is it necessary to clean install for each update?

  A clean uninstall is only recommended as a quick troubleshooting technique when there are continuous problems or irregular behavior with Capture One. It is not necessary for every update.
