Never update new OS unless you are 100% sure it works with all 3rd party software you use for the job! It took nearly two full tears for me to get my printer working again under Snow Leopard, and had a serious issue with COne when upgrading to Leopard: Suddenly my canon failed to shoot tethered.
So one good advice: make sure it all works.
I'll test Lion on a laptop which I don't longer use and get back here when I got some news...

Capture One users should be aware of potential malfunctioning of CO 6.2.2 on Lion. For best results use CO 6.2.2 on Leopard or Snow Leopard.

Issues that has been reported by users here are (but not limited to):
    - no tethering to Phase One back
    - import function may freeze or crash the application [acknowledged]
    - editing keyboard shorts may freeze or crash the application

Regarding the work involved to make CO 6 Lion compatible I was told that the lion's share of the work <grin> still has to be done. And a thorough investigation including fixes takes time.

In case you really want to or like to or must work with Lion take your precautions like not being entirely dependent on that setup.

I want to ask for a solution i found to the problem of incompatibility with the Eos Utility ον Lion. If you uninstall the EOS Utility 2.10.1 and install again from the 5D Mark II cd's the 2.5.0 version and then upgrade to version 2.8.1. It works properly! Ηas anyone tried? It is stable?

I upgraded one of my machines to Lion because of some of the features (mail 💡 ) were too good not to try and installed C1 6.2.2 to test it out. I 95% tether but when very occasionally I do shoot to CF card, I don't use C1's import feature. I can happily report I've not had a single issue or crash. So much so I have installed Lion and 6.2.2 on all my Macs and yesterday shot a big job on location with my i7 Macbook Pro tethered to a P65+/1Ds3 and Mac and C1 never skipped a beat shooting for a solid 9 hour day.

Apart from the import feature (that I've not tested) I can report Lion and C1 works great for me and not sure what all the fuss is about. Its the first OS upgrade I've ever done that has been so straight forward........ good work Apple! 😄

I have turned off restore windows but every time I launch Capture One, the previous session opens first and then after a brief pause, the correct session opens. I've tried other third party plugins to turn off the windows restore function without success. Is anyone else experiencing this bug or is it just me?

I saw this the first 4 or 5 times I started C1 on my Mac Pro only and not seen it since the first few starts. I haven't turned off any of the auto save features and apart from not using the natural scrolling it's a pretty standard/default install of Lion. My MacBook Pro has been OK from the off.
