tiff Metadata
Capture One 7 does not recognize this metadata embedded in tif files:
Okay here's the thing: C1 recognizes those embedded keywords when loading the file for the first time and then ignores any changes. (Despite Metadata reload). Syncronizing Metadata will create an xmp sidecar containing the same Metadata that is already embedded in the file.
This behavior (I had activated full synchronization of xmp sidecar files) might make sense for raw files but certainly not for tiff files of scanned imagery.
It would be great if C1 followed the file-specific guidelines issued by Metadata Working Group and allowed the user to set file-specific rules.

Deleting the Cache folder helps. (serves as a work-around ONLY!). Has CO8 improved the handling of metadata? 0
