    Why does MP not just use the C1-generated .cop proxy instead of rendering there own preview which it is horrible at?(Oh and I have contacted PO about this)

    so MP1.4 does not load thumbnail previews for most images, it's slow, has trouble importing as many as 30 images, crashes regularly.I love CO7 and was hoping for a standardized open format like DNG...

    I have difficulty understanding your message.You said it was fine using CO7 sessions and that you'll use sessions anyway since catalogues are not mature enough.
