This is a huge release for me. Resetting reset counter via keyboard and live view rotation and letter case rename bug...

Great sign of a maturing product getting better and better. Thanks guys!

I just downloaded the .DMG file and it won't open… double click does nothing (Mac OS X 10.11.3)

    Worked fine, here.

If you know how, make sure the MD5 of the DMG matches this; 27f1ea5953906fc8250b0bac461850dc

If not, sounds like a corrupt download.

There's a confirmation dialog that opens in the background. Maybe you can't see it. Try hiding all apps or using Mission Control to show all windows.

Yep, thats exactly what it was.. normally that dialog opens up on top of anything else I have opened, this time it didn't. Its installed now.

I get an explanation mark in a triangle beside each Folder in a session since using 9.1.
What does that mean? New sessions are okay, 9.0 converted sessions are with this warning sign. Functionality seems to be okay 😕

I just upgraded to 9.1 and wanted to upgrade various sessions and catalogs.. so I opened each one.

I noticed that the original catalog or session would always close before the new one opened.
I had thought we were able to have multiple catalogs open at the same time!??

So what am I missing here? How do I have multiple sessions or catalogs open?

In the catalogue view at the folders level choosing "sort by name" produces an application crash. This can be reliably reproduced, I.e. It happens every single time. It is not possible to have the folders sorted which is a huge pain.

I have the same issue: all my HD folders are shown in the wrong sorting.
I tried "sort by name" but I had the mac wheel running since 2 hours....

The same here: my HD folders are not sorted by name.

I did 'Sort By Name' without crash. CO sorted the folders. Not correctly, but different. And now 'Sort By Name' grayed out.

update: sorting HD folders which contain very limited number of subfolders works. as soon as you have 10 or more subfolders, the beachball comes up and capture one eventually crashes.

    I upgrades from 9.03 to 9.1
    On Programstart Catalog was updated.
Now Catalog is empty ☹️ - what's to do?

    A big step forward!

    - Library performance is greatly improved
    - Tiff Support!
    - Memory Leak is still there..
    - Sort by name in groups/albums: slow but works.
    - Sort by name in folders: very slow, I killed CaptureOne after 5 minutes.

    Keep going.

My wishes for the next update: Memory optimisation, speed (if possible) optimisation, even better library speed, bugs fixes.

PS: With Affinity getting mature as well, this year we will get Adobe-free.

    Regards

Great to have the Leica SL support now. Pictures look much, much better than with the DNG neutral profile!

Disappointingly no support for the Fujifilm X-Pro2.

I upgraded from 8 to 9 with the view that support for this camera would follow relatively quick after it's release... Love Capture One, but am forced to continue using a slow and cumbersome Adobe Lightroom until the Fuji is supported.

Any chance there is a rough ETA for the next release?

    Right.
I have 8 years of photos (eight folders) containing 12 folders each for the 12 months containing X days each...
I can run "sort by name" only on a sub sub folder and it took 5 minutes...
That's why I can't do the same for the main folder, maybe it will take 12 hours !

problem is, that tool "library" is invisible - when adding tool "library" CO 9.1 crashes...i've send crash report
    ...downgrade to 9.03 works fine...

So... 9.1 not safe to update?

Don't just send a crash report. File a support case on https://www.phaseone.com/ and describe the problem. This way PO will look into it and respond to you.

Do not bother sorting the individual folders. Even if you finish, once you quit Capture One and open it again, everything will be back to chaos...

Not just sorting, but also adding a folder doesn't work. Once you add a folder, it doesn't show up on the folder tree but it is visible on Finder.

    Sorry I'm new to C1.
Where is the support ticket/bug page ? I didn't find it in support area.
