CP4 not recognizing RAW files

[edit] Hmmm.......seems CP4 locked up.
Closing and opening the program has done the trick.



I've got a new pc and have copied all the photo files across from the old one and re-installed programs.
The old pc was using XP home, the new one has XP pro.

CP4 is not recognizing the RAW files that have been copied across from the old pc.
No problem with the any new files uploaded.

Photomatix doesn't have any trouble recognizing the old RAW files on the new pc.

Please help.

    Hi Bill,

    Could you perhaps be more specific about the symptoms of 'not recognizing the RAW files'. Did you copy only the raw files or with the cache and settings files?

    hi Paul,

    Closing and re-opening CP4 has cleared the problem.

    I had the photos backed up to and external hdd and loaded them onto the new pc from there.
