hi Paul,Closing and re-opening CP4 has cleared the problem.I had the photos backed up to and external hdd and loaded them onto the new pc from there.Thank you for replying, much appreciated.

CP4 not recognizing RAW files
[edit] Hmmm.......seems CP4 locked up. Closing and opening the program has done the trick.I've got a new pc and have copied all the photo files across from the old one and re-installed ...
