RAWs on external drive

Hi everybody


am new here and just came over from Aperture.

I am a wedding photog and have quite a bit of files to manage.

After processing my first wedding on CO I want to move my RAW files now from my mac SSD to an external drive (USB 2) so that I can still find them with my catalog.


Could not find how to do that. Thanks for your help

  You can do that from inside CO (the easy way) dragging the folders from one HD to an other in the "folders" section of the library tool tab. If the external HD is not shown there you can add using the + button. Using this way the CO catalog will keep trace of the new location of your raw files automatically.
  You can also move the raw files from inside the finder of the OS but in this case you will need to help CO to locate them in the new position (right click and locate on the offline folders).
