Catalog on dropbox problems
I use different compters so I placed my catalog files on my dropbox.
One computer is connected to the external HD which contains all the pictures.
Now, when looking in my catalog most of the pictures thumbnails show a big questionmark.
When I click on an image the text shows:
Picture not present, not the right format or is damaged.
Does anyone know whats the reason for this and how I can fix this?

To rule out different parts involved, start with a test catalog on Dropbox, with a few images stored inside that catalog (set option during import or move inside later).
When this works at both ends, Dropbox is fine.0 -

Okey I will try this tonight.0 -
Synchronizing catalogs using Dropbox is a bit too risky in my opinion for the integrity of the catalog, in particular if the synchronization process is active also when the catalog is being used. 0 -
I think I found the problem.
Opened the catalog today with the HDD attached and every picture showed fine. C1 still had to make previews for every picture so I think I closed the computer with the HDD attached to fast after uploading images into the catalog.
Thanks for thinking along!0
