Processing 1000D raws works fine here with CO 4.5.1 on WinXP Pro SP3. Try to vary processing parameters, like format (JPEG, TIFF), ICC profile, do not open, save local drive. Maybe you find out what is bugging you.

If you want other users to try with one of your raw files, you might find some help here as well.

    Hello,

I tried different settings with Canon 1000D raw and result is always the same:
    http://kk1.sol.pl/co_pro_4.5.1.error.jpg

This is raw from my canon 1000D camera:
    http://kk1.sol.pl/canon1000D_raw.CR2
Maybe somebody could try to process it on his/her program to check CO 4.5.1 on different computer.

    PS.
I have AMD Athlon processor in my PC (but I think it doesn't matter).
When I process raw from Canon 450D everything is OK
(for example this one: http://kk1.sol.pl/canon450Draw.CR2 - actually this is not my photo. I found this somewhere in the net).

    Regards,
    Chris

    Chris,
I processed both raw files (your 1000D of a lovely little girl amidst autumn leaves and the 450D) successfully without problems on my WinXP machine with CO 4.5.1 to 8-bits TIFF, AdobeRGB.

Some tips for you which you can try one or all at a time:
    - move your Capture One*.col files from the Pictures\Capture One Library folder to a different location
    - change your monitor profile to sRGB
    - change output parameters to other RGB format (JPEG or TIFF), no compression, other output profile, other location, don't open in program
    - rotate image 90 degree before processing
and start CO 4.5.1 and try again.

I had a similar problem with crashing on 4.5.1 and 4.6 with Canon EOS1DII files. Lots of Image Core crashes and output errors. I eventually solved it by changing my output settings so that the TIFFs were output with no compression instead of LZW.

    Hope that helps someone.
