Lost Catalog
I have had C1 for a while and before it I had LR. At that time I made a catalog by importing all my photos from LR. Afterward I would still import into LR and then reimport into the C1 catalog. Now it is straight to C1.
I have created a few sessions over this time and today I was creating a new on. I messed up on its creation and was going to delete it. This session was highlighted in the Library dropdown . The session was showing in the Library dropdown and for some reason I clicked on "Clear Items" assuming it would only clear the one session. Nope, now my other sessions and, more importantly, my Catalog are no longer showing as options in the dropdown.
Is there anyway to get these back?
Thanks
Michael

They have only disappeared from the recent files drop down. As you use File>Open and navigate to the sessions or catalogs you require, the list will gradually repopulate.

Thanks Ian!
I actually was attempting to locate the original and I couldn't remember what I had named it (it had a date associated with it). While I was doing this I opened an older catalog I had created when I first began C1 (hence the new catalog having an associated date).
Any way to get rid of the old one from the dropdown easily - or is the simple approach to simply do the "Clear Items" and start afresh?
Thanks again!

There seems to be no way of deleting individual catalogs or sessions from the list so you can either clear the list again, or just keep opening new ones as required and the old ones will eventually drop off the list.

You can edit your user config file. The location for a Windows install is shown below (the folder StronName's trailing characters may be different, not sure, but no matter — the user config file is inside).
C:\Users\YOUR ACCT NAME\AppData\Local\Phase_One\CaptureOne.exe_StrongName_y3yh4brhpfi14u41fltdrpfruizxirsn\11.3.2.31\user.config
Shut down C1 and open user.config in Notepad and search for the name you wish to delete. I advise to retain the same formatting when you've finished (with respect to spaces between lines and indents). Make a backup copy before you proceed.0 -
Okay, this worked for me! I thought I installed something the wrong way when this happened.. 🤭 0
