Creating Lens Profiles

Is it possible to actually create your own lens profile if one doesn't exist? I'm not sure what details are needed to do this, but with the lack of lens in the C1 lens database, it would be ideal if PhaseOne posted details on how to create your own profile. Heck, maybe people might even be willing to share them so individuals wouldn't have to create one for a lens, but instead find one that somebody else has already created.

Can this even be done without PhaseOne getting involved (since they seem to be taking their time updating the database.

  Sort of. You can create a preset for the lens (or multiple presets).
  
  Creating a profile and adding it to the profile database is restricted to Phase One. There is no user interface to add information available. You can however request a lens for profiling, even have your lens profiled if you are willing to send it to Phase One.

  Open a support case and do a feature request. Support can log the request through proper channels.

  As Paul said, create a case with our Support guys. That will give us an indication of what is in demand.
  
  We do not support user profiles, as creating proper profiles requires specialist knowledge and advanced equipment for it to be within tolerance. In order for us to ensure this level of precision in Capture One, we need to quality-control every step in the process.

  Is it possible for me to configure a Preset for some lens settings to the Generic/Pincussion ones? I tried to make a Preset after tweaking the settings but it doesn't seem to do anything when I apply it to another image.
