Tethering Nikon D700 with Apple Macbook Pro
I've been having difficult time setting up Nikon D700 to shoot tethered to Macbook Pro. Need help with step-by-step instructions, please. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you created a Tethered session ? 0 -
I have since resolved the issue. I upgraded from COP 4.5 to 4.7 and shot tethered successfully yesterday with no problem. Thanks! 0 -
hi Rodney 10,
just an answer: how long does it takes to receive a D700 file on your c1?
i have to shoot with canon and digital photo professional software 'cause my mac book pro with D700 and D3X files takes 6/7 seconds to show each picture (c1 pro 4.😎.
i'm a digital tech and a nikon user but for the fashion photographers who i'm working with is a too slow system, unfortunately!!
i got a mac book pro 2.33 intel core duo with two gb ram
thanks a lot

You might want to mention your OS X 10.5.x version in the discussion due to maintenance Apple been doing on related components.0 -

Paolo I'm shooting D3's tethered and it takes about 2 1/2 seconds for my images to transfer and be viewed. That is shooting over just under 30' of usb cable also.
Mac Pro 2008 10.5.7
Capture One Pro 4.8
16gb ram.

thanks Lance,
10' means 10 meters?
if is correct i have to change computer!
anyway if i shoot with a canon mark3 ds it takes only 2 seconds to seet he picts (with digital photo professional), instead of 6/7 with capt1, so it looks quite slow
bye
