Give it a week or two and see if any there are any reported issues. This goes for updates in general, especially with OS releases. If your combo of software and OS work for now, give it some time before you update.

If you are using Capture One version 8.3, it is suggested to update to version 8.3.1 by downloading from here: .

This is a service release and fixes a lot of the top issues in 8.3. Release notes are available on the bottom of the download page in Documentation.

what do you means Both Aperture and C1 run smoothly ❗️
are you using Aperture and C1 together ?
or you can now convert your Aperture library to C1 smoothly ?

I think it means that Aperture runs smoothly and CO8 runs smoothly. And maybe simultaneously.

I have been experiencing tether stability issues. I have gone through all the steps and sent in a support request.
I am running 10.4.4 and 8.3.1. I am trying to tether my 5D III to my Macbook pro mid 2010. When I select Canon in the preferences my camera does not connect. If I select all the cameras it connects. This goes against what is supposedly the correct procedure.
I have not really gotten a good answer from support other than telling me I have an unstable connection.
I have only done a few tests on this and not taken it out on a job yet.I was wondering id anyone had another suggestion.
My tethering set up is a 16 foot repeater into a Y cable attached to both USB 2 ports on the Macbook Pro to try to get more power.
I am hoping this continues to work but experience tells me the situation might change.

Thank you for all the hints and thoughts. Eventually I've updated to 10.10.4 and 8.3.1 and everything runs smooth, C1 of course, for my usage and habits (e.g. no thetering)
