Portrait Curve

I was watching the LL CO7 tutorial and in the video n°10 , during the demonstration of the use of the "base characteristic" tool tab, in the list of the available curves, a "portrait" curve was shown which I have never seen before. Is it available only for certain cameras, such as the Nikon 800 used in that demonstration?

    It must be camera specific. I have Portrait for my D700 & D800 images but not for my D50 or X-E1 images.

    They are only made for high-end cameras, as their owners are the most likely to use them.

    We may have a different opinion about the meaning oh "high end cameras", but it doesn't matter.

    It's all about resources. We could choose to make them for all cameras, but then we might not have time to tweak the colors to the extent we do at present. We have chosen colors over the number of film curves.

    I +1'ed because I shoot a 5D M3 and by all accounts it should be considered a "high end camera" and there is just one generic curve listed. Just say in'.
