Spot Removal

Can anybody put some light on the difference between the two options of this tool, dust vs spot?

    I have understood that...

    The Dust removal setting takes more of the background surrounding the spot into account and only works for dark spots (typically dust on sensor). Dust spots are automatically copied to the clipboard and applied when bringing your adjustments from one to other images.
    Dust removals are displayed as 'broken' circles in the viewer.

    The Spot removal is more aggressive, can be used for all kind of spots but is less taking the background into account. As a result the Spots you set are often less suitable for copying as adjustment and are for that reason not automatically copied and applied.
