Sony 90mm macro on CO20
Does CO20 support the Sony FE 90mm 2.8 macro? using CO20 and a Sony A7rII with the lens tethered the micro focusing didn’t work.

Does this article help confirm functionality?
There is a short paragraph that specifically mentions Sony cameras.
Not being a Sony user I cannot check the information offered.

hm... here you have it again c1 is crippling features just to keep an advantage for their own hardware, what a disgusting attitude especially when you consider they sell a dedicated sony version. in the long run it will hurt them more than they benefit. for sony user sony remote outperformes c1 anyway it more reliable and offers better live view image quality.

I had just bought the lens and was starting to test it.
Thank you for your prompt answers! SFA, right, I won’t be able to use the remote function. Well, this lens has a well damped focus ring; provided we have the camera really steady, we can do reliable micro increments in the focus eg for focus stacking. CSP, I’ve never used Sony remote. Now that you mentioned it I’ll take a look at it.0 -

"hm... here you have it again c1 is crippling features just to keep an advantage for their own hardware, ..."
That's one heck of an assumption and allegation. Got any proof?
Given that there is a business relationship with Sony involved perhaps there is more to it than you are suggesting?

@ SFA
visiting this forum for years you should remember that c1 itself told user here they make certain features only available for their hardware customer. so what I wrote is no allegation it is a fact. c1 does not even support .ARQ files after many years selling a special sony version, guess why. do you believe this is in the interest of sony or the paying costumer ?

Still not supported in CO 21. Even the lens profile is missing. Any idea if it will be implemented eventually?

I am also waiting for the profile support of 90mm macro. I bought it absolutely thinking C1 will work with it, I really like more C1 now I am thinking I must use Lightroom...
When it will be available? Think on custumers.1
