Calculated layer mask sync
Hi everyone,
I'm using Capture One to develop fashion editorials and model test, same model, same place, same light, different poses.
I have one question:
For example, if I want to sync a blue color based layer mask (to edit trousers) in all poses, the mask don't changes, it's allways like in the photo where I copy the settings. It´s possible that Capture One recalculate the color range (and the mask) for each different photo?
It will improve speed soooooo much.
Thanks!
Regards from Spain.

Something like this?
https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002633098-Creating-a-mask-from-a-color-range
This process should change the mask according to the positions of the colour content in each image/variant.
There is also the Normalise tool but that has a different purpose and is not enabled for use in layers.
Or have I misunderstood the requirement?

does not work in c1 but adobe LR/ARC would do exactly what you wish. the color mask feature in c1 is still far away to be as useful as luma range.

It`s very slow to remask each similar luma or color image, only for a posing change :(

yes..very much understand you pain, i see myself doing more and more work with adobe software again because c1 sucks for professional user in many ways, the color mask handling is only entertaining for amateurs or those who love to goof around but have no need to deliver. the whole layer mask thing is f..ked up and there is no sign they will change it.

So, like SFA said, we must work in whole images grout at same time...... please, I need a fix in CO21!!!

...yeah never give up the hope.
but the easiest fix would be that you process you images in c1 first and than use LR / ACR to apply this color correction. but maybe you prefer to wait a few years.....
