Downloaded the Capture One 21 beta and now my Capture One 20 activation key is invalid

I've downloaded the Capture One 21 Pro beta, which I pre-ordered, and activated it using the supplied beta license key. After testing it for a while I wanted to use the stable release again and tried to start version 20 of Capture One Pro, for which I have a perpetual license. When I try to activate version 20 with the license key found in my order history it says the code is invalid. When I look under "License Management" on my profile at captureone.com only the beta for version 21 is listed. What is going on?

    I think you have made some choices that are proving confusing by their timing.

    When you pre-order V21 you are provided with a new activation key that should also be used to reactivate V20.

    The beta software is entirely separate. It is purely test software, not supported and specifically not recommended for use in a production situation. It has a separate license for activation. Under the NDA we have signed up to we have agreed not to talk about it so there is no more that can be said in the public part of the forum.

    I tried using the BETA key with my Capture One 20 and it didn't work :-/ I've now re-installed the BETA and it works with the supplied license key. I guess I'm going to have to test the beta some more then ;-)

    You need to use your pre-order V21 key for V20.
