    Thanks David,

I did work out a work around.

I opened a new album in my catalogue and competed the import of the errant residual images. I then deleted the images from the album and the catalogue.

Since then, all has worked seamlessly.

Thanks for the link. I will view the information.

    Cheers

    Peter

I am having same issue.  There are other ways to import of course, but the drag and drop feature isn't working

I have a MAC.  I upgraded from Capture One 20 to Capture One 21 both for Fujifilm.  I loaded app on my home computer and my laptop.  The 2nd install on my laptop will not import images into a new catalog or even into the old catalog.  my home computer works but not the laptop.  What gives?

    Hi Peter,

I am interested to try your workaround.
    You said
" opened a new album in my catalogue and competed the import of the errant residual images. I then deleted the images from the album and the catalogue."

I do not understand this part.
Particularly what is "competed the import of errant residual images"

Will greatly appreciate if you can explain your process more.
    Thanks much!

    Hi John,

    I hope I can help.

    Opened my existing catalogue.

Opened the Import window via drag & drop into selected Album.

Opened with Random images in it - unable to delete Randoms or add new images.

Created a New Album in User Collections.

    Imported Randoms into New Album.

    Deleted New Album.

    Deleted Randoms from All Images.

    Have had no issues since.

    I hope this helps.
