The feature set is controlled by the Activation key used.

You most likely need to De-activate Express (assuming it is activated as seems very likely) and then restart C1 using the Fuji "pro" activation code when prompted.

Both C1 express & C1 Pro show as deactivated on my account.  When I try to deactivate from C1 I get the msg: Capture One was unable to deactivate software on the server. Please, try again later.

Still have not heard from C1 support.

If the account shows both versions de-activated are you still unable to activate with the new "for Fuji" activity license key? (Or even the Express key at the risk of having to de-activate that version again!)

I have just connected to my account and all seems well.

You should see a number for "Activations remaining" if logged in to your account.

There is also a History of activations by computer identification. Multiple activations on the same computer are, of course, only counted as a single activation but you should see 2 (or more?) license types listed if you have both Express and "for Fuji" keys.  Maybe also a "Trial" activation?

I show 1 activation remaining for C1 express and 2 activation remaining for C1 pro.  When I reset all activations under either express or pro nothing happens.  I may  try another uninstall/install.

With those available activations, it means you have no currently Activated installation.

So what, exactly, happens when you try to start Capture One?

I would expect that you should see a "splash" screen and then be prompted to enter an activation key. What do you actually see?

I uninstalled C1 and deleted the capture one files and folders in Program Files and Programdata . I
also deleted the capture folder in the Phaseone folder in Programdata.
After re-installing C1, on startup it askes for the license key. When I enter the activation key it gives an error msg: "Something unexpected happened, Please contact support"

    Hmm.

Which version of Windows are you running?

Does it manage to verify your account details after you have entered the activation key, or does it not get that far?

There should be an installation log file but whether its content means anything to anyone outside the development team I have no idea.

    I am running Windows 10 v20H2.

Prior to my deleting the Capture one folders. When I I entered the license key I would get the msg: "Something unexpected happened Please contact support". I did contact support but have not heard from them. That's why I tried deleting the files and re-installing.

I was thinking that there was a config file or log file that if removed would give me a fresh install.
