Video Keywords?

I need to be able to tag, and find video files by keywords/description or other meta data.  Does this feature exist in 21?  (It doesn't in 20, and it is the go/no go decision point on upgrading).

If they haven't done it by now, I need to look elsewhere for asset management software.  Videos and photos are kind of intertwined in 2021 don't you think?

    Capture One only lets you add keywords to images (and videos) that you can edit. So as well as not being able to keyword videos, you can't keyword images below the minimum edit size. No change to that in version 21, unfortunately.

    It would be nice to be able to add keywords, and perhaps ratings and colour tags, even if you can't edit, and I've wondered why not.

    It occurs to me that one of the reasons that you can't is that keywords are stored like adjustments are. In a session, at least, keywords are stored in the .cos file, along with edit information. (I don't know how they are stored inside the .cocatalogdb database in a catalog.) Perhaps allowing keywording even if you couldn't edit, would require recording them in a separate way?

    Thanks Ian.  Good to know....the hunt begins for a proper DAM program.  (again). Shame that C1 doesn't allow keywording videos, but no sense banging my head against the wall.
