Isolating changes in floating library tool
I have a workflow going, where I want to access multiple different places in a session library at one time. It works ok, when one of the windows is showing session albums, and another is showing library pane, but when I want to access two different points in the library at once (ie one location in each different floating library), as soon as I make a change in one floating library (FL from now on), the other FL updates...losing my place there. Really no point in HAVING a FL if I can't isolate one, and change the other.
Any thoughts on this? I keep getting hopelessy lost in my workflow, because when I work in one window, the other window is altered.

I think you are expecting Capture One to work in a way that is not intended to work.
There are a few exceptions (tools that self contain multiple tabs - Levels, Curve, and so on) that may have multiple instances running in different tool options but in the main, if you have multiple versions of a tool open it is likely for convenience when using multiple screens. All instances of the same tool will act as a single tool.
