Someone hacking posts.

SFA has pointed to a number of posts where  spam links seem to have been inserted by someone other than the op. This needs investigating urgently.

    Dave,

    There do seem to be rather a lot of recent instances of this problem. It's difficult to know whether the poster's accounts have been created specifically for the purpose - some look like they may have been but others look more "genuine" at the point of posting - or are being hacked randomly as you have pointed out. 

    Maybe both?

    The frequency of appearance of dodgy links seems to be increasing. Given that this does not seem to be the busiest forum in the world it seems odd that humans would spend so much time manually hacking posts for any reason at all, but one never knows these days. 

    If it is a security issue for automated processes accessing the server(s) then whoever is managing them may want to investigate. Indeed, probably should investigate.
