C21 Color changes when I change from Overview to 100% using HighISO-Files

c1 was plagued with this issue for years but with v21 it is almost eliminated so I´m surprise to see such a strong color shift.  I think this is ( a bug ?) related to your R6 files. when you regularly shot high iso I would give dxo pureraw a try...

If you make the edits at 100% and then change the viewer size to "Fit" do you see the reverse effect?

Using white balance adjustment on what will be a compressed (i.e. many pixels discarded to make the result fit in the viewing size specified) is very likely to offer different results especially in high ISO files with a lot of noise.

One can, of course, see opposite effects if editing at 100% and then compressing to a fraction of that fow viewing.

A typical case would be an image with a lot of grass which we think of and see as green but is more often than not mostly shades of yellow.  Upon reducing the number of pixels to be presented on screen the yellow areas may become dominant and so appear to give a very different result to that expected.

The spread of "yellow" pixels in an area of grass in an image is quite similar to the spread of "noise" in a high ISO image and so similar unexpected (and perhaps unpredictable) results may be uncovered.

Or at least that has been my experience.

I suspect that WB may not be the best tool to use for your purpose. One of the colour adjustment options  would probably be better, possibly deployed after Noise reduction rather than before NR in this case.

If I refit the picture, there are the same colors as before. It changes every time when, I switch from fit to 100% and back. Other pictures from the same evening, taken with High ISO, has the same problem.

If I return to the original (white balance), there's the same effect.

as I said it is a long know issue but kind of fixed with v21. I would download a  similar high iso shot from a different camera brand from DPR for example to check if it is general issue or as I guess it is related to the handling of the new canon raw files.

I've downloaded a file from the Sony alpha 1 high ISO (https://download.havecamerawilltravel.com/sample-images/sony-a1/high-iso/sony-a1-high-iso-sample-image-22.arw?_ga=2.55770923.169313968.1623687066-1898045932.1623687066 ).

    Similar problem.

i see a shift with the sony file but not comparable with your sample. seems I was wrong they only improved rendering at lower iso values.  so c1 is still as shitty as ever  when it comes to high iso. I would report this but as this issue is kind of fundament flaw I do not think you will see an real improvement in the foreseeable future.

Users: "Hey, CaptureOne, why don't you fix the bug that have been here for years?"

CaptureOne: "Best I can do is 50 Webinars and 16 new Ambassadors."

you know the answer, everything what only effects a small group of user is ignored.

as this is unsolved for too years I very much think this is a flaw in their software design and not easy to fix.

Come on. This has been an issue for more than two years. If they have ressources for dozends of useless webinars that a handful of people watch in order to feel like they're part of the "pros" - then surely they have 1 somewhat competent software designer to fix it.
As you can see it does not only affect a small group of users:

This dates back to almost a decade and it should be an easy fix with a decent enough algorithm.

    C-M-B,

you are absolute right but c1 has become a software for masochists or wannabes anyway.  the color shift issue is just one of the many problems you face when you use c1 as a professional with a demand for quality.  all of this issues have in common they are ignored for many years !  10 years ago c1 was a truly fantastic software with a clear advantage but this is over now.  it amuses me that in the field they thought they are unbeatable - image quality- they are now the clear looser.
