Olympus Micro 4/3 lens support

Dear Lily and Jesper,

9 months ago I requested the following lens support:

Please add Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5.0-6.3 IS profile. I know it is the latest new Olympus telephoto lens and would love to see it in the upcoming version of Capture One Pro.

In the meantime, OMD Solutions/Olympus released also the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS Pro and Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 8-25mm F4 Pro.

Now, 9 months later and, since the Capture One Pro 21 release, 4 upgrades further, there is still no lens profile support for any of these above mentioned lenses. As a member of the Olympus E-group UK forum, I notes that many Olympus users who use Capture One Pro considering, or already migrated, to other Post Process engines that do support all Olympus lenses. Among them are also professional photographers that in the past used Capture One and even recommended it to Micro 4/3 uses. Both amateurs/enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Not having the proper lens and camera support at hand will make people leave Capture One for other post process engines.

Please give us, Olympus users, the much needed lens and camera support for the above mentioned lenses fast.

Thank you for feedback on Capture One - this is always welcomed and encouraged among our users and we appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development of the software. Lens profiles are created In-house by a specialist team at Capture One, and there are hundreds of such profiles.

There are, however, many lenses that have not been profiled by the Capture One team and are unlisted. Making a new Lens Profile can take some time but is all done with the interest of making the best software we can.
