Frustrated

I can not seem to move an image from capture 21 to Nik, DXO, or Lightroom. Very frustrating and makes the software quite complex to use without these features. What am i missing?

    That is the process I followed but the message I get is "the variant can not be processed."

    Rarely, when I try to process an image that I've worked on before, C1 says it can't be processed and the thumbnail in the Browser is dimmed. Invariably, I'll move to a different image, wait a minute or so, and when I retry the original image it works as expected. Could that be what's happening to you? It's almost like C1 falls behind in rendering thumbnails/adjustments and needs a little while to catch up.

    Does exporting the variant as a TIFF/JPEG work?
