Move images (with modifications and variants) to other existing catalogue

I have two catalogues and I imported and edited some images in the wrong catalogue. How can I move those images to the other existing catalogue including all the modifications I did to those image and ideally also including all variants I made off of them?

Both catalogues have their images referenced in the file system and not embedded in the catalogue file (in case that matters somehow).

  You can't directly move them to a different catalog. But you can

  (1) export them as a new catalog. See the instructions here.

  https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002517297-Exporting-a-Catalog 

  Then

  (2) you can open the catalog you had intended to use and Import the catalog you created at step (1).
