Cant log into capture one
For some reason, I am stuck on the sign-in screen. This plug-in is stuck underneath the sign in screen.

Hi!
I got the same.. to fix it I had to delete the "CaptureOne" folder in my home prefs: {User}/AppData/localLow.
Weird..
Cheers

Where is that? I don't see that folder on my PC.

Make a backup of the folder first in order to copy back your settings step by step afterwards
Go in the Explorer in your home folder (and allow to see "hidden items"). Actually it's in AppData/Local/CaptureOne.
Best luck. Tell if you still hve the issue.

Have the same issue. Deleteing and recreating the folder does not work for me. Hope someone from CO reads this and stops the madness

Hi Frank, this is a community site. You may want to open a ticket (top of this window) and report the problem directly to C1. The 15.3 release seems to be full of bugs and beyond anything I've experienced in using C1 over 8 years. Jim

I have the same issue using Windows.
Loaded CO 15.3 using my Admin level account (it works but I can not double click on an image to begin edits - I have to hit "G" after selecting - yes it has been reported) but when I use my "normal" account I get the same error. This bug has also been reported.
CO has really made mistakes on this release. CO has become so Apple oriented that Windows is just being forgotten, I bet that next year (v24) will not even run on Windows.

I fixed my issue.
Logged on to CO website and deactivated all licenses.
Waited about an hour for CO to get its Kimchi together.
Manually activated CO using my Admin level account.
Switched users to "normal" non-Admin user account and activated via entering my email. Now it works - updated my error/bug request.
Painful and non-friendly method of activating a bump release. This is not hard, but CO makes it so.

While I had the same issue, I was getting prompted with the startup splash window for training/styles/etc and the Sign In popup. Of course no matter what I did, the 'sign in' popup would never be the active window. I would have to kill C1 via the task manager and repeat the process. Very frustrating.
I got around it by going to the %appdata% folder, basically the C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Local folder and then renamed the - Capture_One and CaptureOne folders. Then started Capture One up again and the folders were recreated and I was finally able to login.
Kind of a pain in the butt.
Make sure you have a backup, because of course all your stuff is saved in there like export recipes. I did this upgrade on my secondary machine, just to make sure it worked - now I'm a little nervous to try it on my main machine.
