With the release of CO v23 16.1 the issue with feather and refine masks has been resolved. My ticket has been closed (it was related to my ancient CPU - go figure).

With the latest build, GPU acceleration on and off, CO v23 16.0.2.11 still crashes. I have updated my ticket, but they seem to have fixed one issue only to break another. I will go kill it now.
